Misty is a lovely 18 month old Whippet who was picked up after being involved in a road traffic accident and taken to an animal hospital suffering from a broken leg. As she was microchipped her owner was traced but unfortunately they couldn't afford her veterinary treatment so she was signed over to the charity run hospital and we offered her a rescue space.
Misty had to have her fractures pinned and splinted but she recovered well from her operation and proved to be a sweet natured patient. Her splint has now been removed and her leg is healing well but she will need on lead walks for a further 8 weeks as her bones and muscles strengthen.
This lovely girl walks well on lead and is not fazed by other dogs when out and about, she has liked all the dogs she as met so far and will initiate play and she has shown no interest in the cats she has briefly met so far. She eats and sleeps well and is very affectionate, loves her cuddles and happily tries to be a lap dog at any opportunity!
Misty is speyed, microchipped, worm & flea treated and vaccinated.
