Go to Malayalam Wikipedia using Internet Explorer to see whether the reading setup is already done in your system. If you don't see correct Malayalam there, please run Anjali Font Installer from the left sidebar of this page. [Further reading]
Goto Google's Malayalam transliteration site. Type in Manglish as you would do in chat. Copy paste the Malayalam text to any site or application you choose to.
To write without connecting to internet, install Varamozhi Editor by clicking the download link on the leftbar. Write as per Mozhi manglish key sequence. Click File menu and select Export to UTF8 (unicode) to convert what your have written to Unicode. You can copy paste this Unicode output to any site or application.
Once you are comfortable with Mozhi way of typing, use Mozhi Keyman(installed along with Varamozhi Editor) to type Malayalam in any site or application directly, instead of copy pasting each time.
