Server Hosing shutting down:
Here is the email from hosting company, not sure if I want to set up another server.. Hate to admit it but Half-Life is kind of dead..... s
It brings us great sadness to announce this, but as of the end of October EdgeGameServers will no longer be in the game and voice server market. After a great 4 almost 5 years of being in this business Ben and I feel that it is time to move on to other adventures at this time and leave the game hosting industry behind. We would like to thank all of our thousands of customers through the years for supporting us and our company and giving us the opportunity to provide every one of you with top notch servers at a reasonable price. We will not be going away forever and will still be active in the community, but will be focusing more on just dedicated hardware sales. Anyone that has prepaid for multiple months or that has recently paid and did not get a full months of service please open a support ticket at https://edgegameservers.com/clients and you will be refunded the difference that is due. Once again we would like to thank you for all of the great memories and we hope that we can still help in the community. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Same old same old: Not much new going on, I hop in the server here and there when I see you guys playing. keep the messages coming, I like keeping in touch.
1/31/2015:
Nothing new, winter sucks: Added bots back to the server, 3 if empty and one stays as people enter. It's fun when nobody is on, seems to get busy once people start playing.

A few new members: Most notable is Iron Woodside. He has several maps he created and they will be on the server cycle. Check our FB page for more recent updates.

Server update: We switched our fast download server to another location. Please let us know if there are any maps or files still having problems.
2/20/2014:
Server update: We are proud to announce that our new Servers have arrived at our new Location Buffalo, NY. This means that all current NY Clients will be moved to our New facility within the next few hours. This will include 1-2 Hours Maximum (Depending on Server size)
No data will be lost* If you would like to take a backup before we transfer you please do so. The move will start within 12 Hours from now.
