Every Sunday, 9:15 am – 10:00 am: Singing with Louise Dobbs. Everyone is invited to join this choir! Led by the incredible Louise Dobbs, you are invited to come join us at the Church in Ocean Park, no matter what your "skill" level! We love to sing a variety of songs and think you will, too. Stay for interfaith service that begins at 10:15. Everyone welcome.

Every Sunday at 10:15 am: Interfaith service for people who don't like church. Want to experience a spiritual community that is not wimpy, does not require you to leave your brain at the door, and has a good time together? Want to share your journey and insights with a community that wants to be connected to you and possibly changed by you? Check out this church and see if it's a fit! We welcome people of all faiths, and non-believers.

Spiritual Journey Sharing Groups
Spiritual Journey Sharing groups give us an opportunity to share in a more intimate setting what our beliefs are.  In the comfortable setting of the home of a church member, each person gets a chance to share where their spiritual path is leading them.  Due to the nature of these groups, they are limited to 8 people and so registration is required.  Please sign up by August 11th.  If space runs out, we will create more groups.
Even homogeneous-appearing faith communities include people with diverse beliefs. However, the Church in Ocean Park differs in that our goal is not to create a community of people who share one faith understanding.  One of our goals is to grow in our spiritual lives through honoring the sacred in a variety of expressions.
You are invited to sign up for one of these dates by emailing or calling the church office(310-399-1631), or sign up on Sunday mornings. These groups will be held at the homes of community members.  Be sure to leave your phone number so that we can let you know if the group has reached capacity, and the address of where it is being held.
Spiritual Journey Sharing Groups will meet for 1 ½ hours on the following dates
1)  Wednesday, August 14th, at 10 am
2)  Wednesday, August 14th, at 7 pm
3)  Sunday, August 18th, at 2 pm
4)  Sunday, August 18th, at 7pm

Exercise Group
Monday August 12
Kathy Orebaugh

The exercise group is taking it to the beach!  With the weather being so beautiful we have decided to turn the hour long exercise group into an hour long, approximately 3.2 mile (5K) walk. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us.  We meet at the church on Mondays at and start the walk down to the beach and take the walking path and walk just a bit past the pier and then across the hwy on the footbridge. We then circle back towards the church through the park, take the road that goes down to the pier then turn back onto the walking path along the beach back to the church. You can go the entire distance or just as far as you want. It's a great way to get out and enjoy the weather and let go of some stress of the day and get to know one another better.
