Welcome to my site! I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Earth Science at Rice University. I work with Prof. Cin-Ty Lee and Prof. Rajdeep Dasgupta on decarbonation at continental arcs and subducion zones, to understand the geological driving forces of the long-term climate change.
I have a long-standing research interest in developing petrological thermo-dynamics and kinetics. I combine the modeling tools with field geology and geochemistry, to understand the histories recorded in natural rocks and the tectonic evolution of orogenic belts.
I was a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Geosciences, SUNY Fredonia for the year 2015-2016.
I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Geology and Geophysics at Yale University, under the supervision of Prof. Jay Ague.
I was born in Harbin, China. I received my bachelor degree in Peking University, Beijing, China, before I moved to Yale in 2009.
