What will we fund? The funding criteria is in line with the
original intentions for the Trust as covered in the Governing
Scheme:
We WILL fund
Christian mission projects which share the Good News of Jesus in word as well as deed.
Projects mainly within the Anglican Deanery of Harrogate. This is intended as a geographical boundary and does not imply bias towards Anglican projects.
Any denomination, network, charity or organisation which has Christian objects.
Salaries, Core Costs and other project costs the Trustees deem suitable.
We particularly invite applications which have benefit to more than one church, but are not restricted to this.
One-off and repeated grants to the same organisation
We WON’T fund
Projects that “do good” but don’t intentionally and overtly talk about Jesus.
Projects that are mainly outside this area or cover a big geographical area outside of the Harrogate area.
Organisations that don’t have a Christian object, even if they are motivated by Christian values.
Building work
The Trustees meet three times a year, usually in March, July and November to review any Applications.
