I will keep this page up to date with news from our class, homework assignments, and pictures from our school year together!
I am so thrilled to be your child's teacher! I am originally from Ithaca, Michigan, which is a farm community south of Alma and Mt. Pleasant on US-127. I attended Hope College for my undergraduate degree and played four years of varsity football for the Flying Dutchmen! This is my first year as a classroom teacher, and I could not be more excited! In my free time, I like to stay active with running or playing a pick up game of basketball or soccer. I also enjoy playing my guitar, and sitting around any object with good company and plenty of laughter. I have an absolutely wonderful family (picture below), and I cannot wait to be a part of the Georgetown family as well.
