Title: LinguaDMS Regional Administrator

Location: South Africa

Position description: LinguaDMS (LDMS) is a cutting-edge tool for managing, archiving, repurposing and distributing digital files, such as videos, audio files, images or text documents. This “digital media source” can serve content to websites, mobile applications, Internet radio and terrestrial broadcast outlets. Additionally, this digital warehouse allows media content (audio, video, images and text) to be collected, archived, retrieved and distributed. LDMS provides ministries and organizations with the technology and means to get their message and content out through multiple media platforms. Ultimately, it enables the ability to reach anyone, anywhere, at any time. What’s more, it enables program content in any language to be offered anywhere in the world in the correct format and at the correct time. The LDMS Regional Administrator oversees the implementation of LDMS in the region(s). This person is also a liaison with other Kingdom-minded organizations who desire to use the TWR LDMS system to enhance their ministry goals.

Title: Assistant Regional Systems Administrator

Location: South Africa

Position description: The Assistant System Administrator works under the Regional Systems Administrator, running the PC Help Desk, ensuring that all software used at the Africa Regional Office (ARO) is kept in one secure location and that all essential data on the servers is secure and backed up according to TWR policy. The person filling this position must maintain the office internet service and participate in the on-call schedule to ensure lost air time is kept to a minimum due to computer problems. In addition, records must be kept of all ARO software licenses and stored securely. To fill the requirements of this job, training in IT/IS would be a great advantage. Minimum requirement is a high school diploma. One must have the ability to repair PCs, keep up to date with changes taking place in the IT industry, and do record keeping and writing of reports. MCSE courses and LINUX training are an advantage.

Title: IT Technician

Location: Swaziland

Position description: TWR-Swaziland is in need of an IT/IS worker to maintain the computer and the network. This individual would need to have the ability to work with networks and have general PC Helpdesk abilities. TWR Swaziland is one of TWR's very important broadcasting stations with four high power transmitters, broadcasting about 30 different languages to Africa and beyond. The Computer Network in Swaziland consists of several Servers, about 20 PCs and 5 Laptops. There are two main locations for these. These two locations are connected by Wireless Links. This position is preferably long-term position, but until a long-term missionary is found, a short term missionary would be very helpful. TWR is becoming more and more dependent on computer systems, as everything from office to studio to transmitter sites are becoming dependent on computerization. Therefore interest in digital audio, electronics and alarm systems would be helpful.

Title: Broadcast Technician

Location: Guam (Mariana Islands)

Position description: We are in need of a person to come and join our dedicated technical ministry team which works together to keep the message of God’s transforming love going out over five 100KW SW transmitters with the greatest clarity and reliability possible. This person serves with their technical skills to support the operation, repair, and maintenance of the TWR broadcast equipment. Also, he will provide occasional ground support for the antenna field maintenance team. Two or more years of formal technical training or equivalent experience is required to be successful in this position. An Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or computer science is most helpful. Preference is for individuals with a minimum of two years of working experience in these or related technical areas. Proficiency with computers, good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, proven technical proficiency, and the ability to learn quickly are a must for this ministry position.

Title: Transmitter Engineer

Location: Guam (Mariana Islands)

Position description: We are in need of a person to come and join our dedicated technical ministry team which works together to keep the message of God’s transforming love going out over five 100KW SW transmitters with the greatest clarity and reliability possible. This person will provide engineering and technical services to support the broadcast and related equipment. Skills in working with RF circuits, logic circuits, automation systems, project management, and computers combined with good documentation disciplines will be utilized. A technically related degree is a must with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent, the best match. Experience in radio communications or power electronics would also be extremely beneficial. We prefer someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related engineering area and will train someone in high power RF engineering who is a willing learner and has good mechanical skills and proven technical proficiency.
