Inspired North East Development Officer, with the Church of England Diocese of Newcastle (2010-2016).

Chairman of the Marketing and Technology Network of the European Travel Commission (2004-2010).

Consultancy to the European Travel Commission for the review of its corporate strategy (2010-2013) and for the review and redevelopment of the visiteurope.com web portal (2008-09).

Feasibility study for a Church Buildings and Spiritual Heritage project for the Church of England Dioceses of Newcastle and Durham. Now the Inspired North East project.

ArCh:Way - Andrew prepared project plans and funding proposals for an 'open churches' arts and tourism project in East Lincolnshire for The Churches Conservation Trust. The project was awarded substantial funding under the Rural Development Programme for England - Lincolnshire Coastal Action Zone, and has since been completed. 

Sacred Britain: places of worship and the tourism destination experience - prepared this influential strategy for the development of tourism involving the rich cultural heritage of Britain's finest churches and other places of worship (2006).

e-tourism consultancy to Malta Tourism Authority to advise on the redevelopment of their national website, and prepared a tourism sector E-Business Action Plan for Malta's Ministry of Tourism and Culture (2006-07).
