There are numerous recitals in and around Montreal every week, many of them free or voluntary contribution requested.

Patrick Wedd is performing the complete organ works of

Dietrich Buxtehude for the 300th anniversary of his death on the Wilhelm organ of Christ Church Cathedral on the Saturdays (5:00 pm) and Sundays (1:00 pm) of June (Voluntary contribution $10 requested). 

 

 

The McGill Summer Organ Academy, with concerts (mostly paid admission) every evening, from Sunday, July 8, to Thursday, July 19.

 

 

Organ superstars, Marie-Claire Alain, the world's most recorded organist (Notre Dame Basilica, Sunday, July 8, 7:00 pm, $20), and Olivier Latry, of Notre Dame in Paris (Notre Dame Basilica,

Sunday, July 15, 7:00 pm, $20), will be here from France.  And, later in the summer, Daniel Roth, of St. Sulpice in Paris (Notre Dame Basilica, Sunday, August 26, 7:00 pm, $20).
