Christ Church, High Harrogate
Christ Church, High Harrogate is home to a thriving worshipping community of all ages. It is a centre of Christian worship, learning and fellowship with links across the region and beyond. We are part of the Anglican (Church of England) tradition, but welcome people of all traditions and backgrounds.
We extend a particular welcome to those who are just beginning to explore Christian faith and those who are exploring practising their faith again after many years. On this website you will find a wide range of information about worship, fellowship and learning at Christ Church.

Regular Worship
SUNDAYS:
8.00 am    Holy Communion - simple said celebration with a short address.

10.00 am  PARISH EUCHARIST - a full sung celebration with quality preaching and music (choir or music group) and groups for children and young people.

WEDNESDAYS:
9.30 am Prayer Service - an opportunity to pray quietly together and light candles.(Please note this will take place in the main hall during the renovation works).
10.00 am Wednesday Eucharist - a simple celebration of Holy Communion.(Please note this will take place in the  main hall during the renovation works).
        Daily Prayer:
        Morning Prayer (Mon to Fri) at 8.30 am (Please note this   
        will take place in the lounge during the renovation works).
        Evening  Prayer usually Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday,                 Wednesday and Thursday at 5.30 pm

The church is open for prayer and silence each day, from 8.30am.

Renovation Works to commence on Monday 12th June

Urgent repairs in church to the East Window and sections of internal plasterwork are due to commence on Monday 12th June and are likely to continue until the beginning of August. There will be scaffolding outside the East Window, in the Sanctuary, South Transept and in each balcony stairwell. Please bear with us whilst these urgent repairs take place. Services will take place as normal although some may need to be moved into the Parish Centre. Please see the Weekly Bulletin for details.

If you would like to make a contribution towards these essential works please contact the Parish Office for details. All donations large or small will be very gratefully received.  Thank you for your support and understanding during these weeks.

Christ Church 2020 Vision



The Building Project Steering Group (BPSG) can now confirm that full planning permission has been granted by the Harrogate Borough Council Planners.
