Welcome! This website documents my educational and professional achievements in the course of completing my Master's in Library & Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma School of Library & Information Studies has been accredited by the American Library Association since 1956. Also provided are links to the core competencies of the American Library Association (ALA) and the Association of Library Service to Children (ALSC). These core competencies, which professional librarians are expected to master, are the benchmarks I have used to evaluate my educational and professional achievements. Within my portfolio, achievement of specific ALA core compentencies is identified with the notation [ALA CC], while achievement of specific ALSC core competencies is identified with the notation [ALSC CC].
