Chris Rogers

I'm an assistant professor of mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Before arriving at UNR in 2016, I was an assistant professor (also tenure-track) at the University of Louisiana.  Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral researcher for three years in the Mathematics Institute of the University of Göttingen, and a member of the Courant Research Centre on Higher Order Structures in Mathematics (CRCG). I also spent one year as a postdoc in the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Greifswald.

I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of California, Riverside. My thesis was supervised by John Baez

Here is my CV.

Outside of doing math, I like to ride bicycles, think about art, and play music. My spouse is also a professor at UNR in the Department of Theatre and Dance.
