    Creative Project - Call 911

This app is to be used in an emergency when you need to call 911. You launch the app and press the "Call 911" button to do so. Upon pressing the "Call 911" button the app sends out a text message to a contact list that you define, as well as sending them your last known location. Upon downloading you would open the app and set which contacts you want to be notified. The app will store them should an emergency occur. Right now the app is not set up to call 911 - I have set it to call 511 - the national traffic information hotline. I have done this so the app can be tested without having to actually call 911. I may release a version that does call 911 in the future however.

To download, you must first ensure that your phone is set to be able to download from sources other than the Android marketplace. To do this go to Settings-->Applications-->and check the box "Unknown sources" Once you have done this, you need to have a barcode reader app installed on your phone (find one in the Android market) and use it to scan the QR code below. Then press open browser to begin the download. Once the download has completed, press install and begin using the app!
