- Lab managerial tasks (writing protocols, IRB continuing reviews, protocol progress reports, etc.), MRI technician, recruiting, screening, consenting, and compensating participants

The Dean's Fund Intern (Summer 2014):
Albeanu Laboratory: Sensory Neuroscience
Principle Investigator: Dr. Florin Albeanu
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories: Neuroscience Department
- Worked with another undergraduate student to design and implement a study where we could selectively and temporally inhibit specific olfactory neurons in a mouse model, utilized optogenetic techniques paired with behavioral testing on transgenic mice to form conclusions about our results

BCS Bilski-Mayer Undergraduate Fellow (Summer 2013):
Tadin Laboratory: Vision and Cognitive Neuroscience
Principle Investigator: Duje Tadin
University of Rochester: Center for Visual Science
-Worked on a visual perception project with a graduate student in the lab aiming to gain insight on the dynamics of motion induced blindness.

Part-Time Research Positions


Head Research Assistant (Fall 2014 - Spring 2015):
Starr Laboratory: Internalizing Disorders
Principle Investigator: Dr. Lisa Starr
University of Rochester: Department of Clinical Psychology
- Recruited and screened adolescents at risk for internalizing disorders, recruited and screened undergraduate students with internalizing disorders for a study on the effects of hassles and uplifts in daily life, point of contact for the participants through the two-week-long study, created, maintained, and distributed questionnaires through Qulatrics, computer data entry, and performing literature reviews for the P.I.

Research Assistant (Spring 2013 - Fall 2013):
Tadin Laboratory: Vision and Cognitive Neuroscience
Principle Investigator: Duje Tadin
University of Rochester: Center for Visual Science
-Worked with lab staff and graduate students to pilot and consult on their studies collecting psychophysical data on visual perception and action, attended department-wide journal clubs focused on visual science and sensory perception, reviewed and edited papers for grammar, spelling, and eloquence before submission

Research Assistant (Spring 2012):
Human Language Processing Laboratory
Principle Investigator: Dr. T. Florian Jaeger
University of Rochester: Brain and Cognitive Sciences Department
- Learned, decoded, and transcribed artificial (made-up) language sample recordings for a study on communicative biases when acquiring a new language, ran participants through the study sessions to collect the data.
