Chriselle Almeida was born in INDIA, raised in NEW YORK and now lives in LOS ANGELES. A classically trained performer, Chriselle has a BACHELOR of FINE ARTS Degree in Acting from THE UNIVERSITY of CONNECTICUT. She received a full scholarship towards a MASTER of FINE ARTS Degree in Acting from UCLA. Chriselle worked in THEATRE REGIONALLY and OFF-BROADWAY before moving to LA to pursue FILM and TV. ACTING CREDITS include, "THE BIG BANG THEORY", "GREY'S ANATOMY", "GOSSIP GIRL" and "SEX & THE CITY 2". Chriselle recently appeared on Showtime's "SHAMELESS" and MINDY KALING'S NETFLIX Comedy, "NEVER HAVE I EVER".
Chriselle is also a SCREENWRITER. Her script "SHAKESPEARE'S HEROINES AT THE GYNECOLOGIST" was the WINNER for BEST FIRST TIME SCREEN WRITER SHORT at the NEW YORK SCRIPT AWARDS. Her other scripts include Female Buddy Rom Com Full Length Feature Film "DOUBLE WEDDING", 1 Hour Drama Pilot "KARMA IS A BITCH", 1/2 Hour Multi-Cam Sitcom "SIBLINGS and 1/2 Hour Single Cam Comedy "WHAT I KNOW NOW". She is currently working on adapting the novel "SKIN" by late author Margaret Mascarenhas. Chriselle recently launched her own Production Company to CHRISELLE PRODUCTIONS to promote diverse story telling.
