Overview 
  • Cells exist in a sea of fluid (i.e. a body fluid such as blood or culture medium) and interact with their environments or other cellular components. The interaction plays an essential role in delicate biological processes such as cell migration and growth which is responsible for cell therapy and metastatic disease. Micro- and nano-fluidic devices engineered at the similar scales with cells and their surroundings can enable highly precise control of cells and their environments, and facilitate an understanding of biomechanics of cells, which could lead to novel cell-based therapy and diagnosisThe NanoBioEngineering Research Laboratory focuses on the development of innovative bioengineering tools and unique fluidic principles for applications in cell-based therapeutics, point-of-care diagnostics, fundamental biology, and cell mechanics.

  • 경희대 nBEL에서 함께 연구를 진행할 석/박사과정 학생 및 박사후 연구원을 모집합니다. 연구실에서는 차세대 의료기기 개발연구를 수행하고 있으며, 나노바이오, 바이오멤스 기반의 소자를 개발하고 이를 세포기반의 치료, 진단에 응용하는 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. nBEL 구성원에게는 학비 전액과 생활비를 지원합니다.
