Spicy Garlic Green Beans

1 pound green beans (I had a little less)
2 tbsp canola oil
6 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1 tsp red chilli flakes
salt to taste

Heat oil over medium-high heat.  Add the garlic and red chilli flakes and saute for a couple of minutes.  You don't want the garlic to brown a lot or else it will burn as you continue to cook.  Add the green beans and cook until you start to see some brown spots on the beans.  Add 1/4 cup water and cover.  Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until beans are tender and water is gone.  You may need to add additional water if it becomes dry and the beans are not tender.  Season with salt.
