On-Water

On-water is where Mates are introduced to the practical skills they need to demonstrate before qualifying as a keelboat skipper. 

Students sail for the first time at the Marina Office on Saturday morning at 0900 for about 4 hours. Students also sail Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 1700 to 1900.

Each session builds on the previous session. The curriculum is outlined in the table below.
