Dr. Chixin Xiao's work studio
Chixin XIAO (Senior Member, IEEE) received his master's degree in computer science at Xiangtan University, Xiangtan, China, in 2004, and his first PhD degree in computer application technology at Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2009. Furthermore, in Aug 2021, he obtained his second PhD degree in power engineering at the University of Wollongong, Wollongong, NSW, Australia. He was an Associate Professor of information science with Xiangtan University, and previously held academic positions with the University of Essex, U.K., and the University of Newcastle, Australia. His research interests focus on computational intelligence and its applications in power engineering such as smart grid resilience, power system planning and modelling, Optimization in the electricity market, etc.
