This is the page in which you can find technical stuffs which helps us. This contains seminar reports and ppt's.

Hibernate: Hibernate is a powerful, high performance object/relational persistence and query service. Hibernate lets you develop persistent classes following object-oriented idiom - including association, inheritance, polymorphism, composition, and collections.
Hibernate allows you to express queries in its own portable SQL extension (HQL), as well as in native SQL, or with an object-oriented criteria. Report and PPT are attached with this page.

Fluid interface: In the normal web pages the contents are fixed to a position in the page, on resize of window (browser) the important content may hide and user may not scroll and see. But incase of fluid interface, on resize of the window the contents are also moved to the visible area, so that user will not loose the important information on resize. On resize of the page the contents are also resized and placed in a visible part of the window. Here in the fluid interface the objects in the page get contracted or expanded according
to the resize of the window. This gives a better performance when compared to the normal web pages. Here the web pages are built through flex and deployed using the flash player. The interface is built using the flex builder which gives the entire framework necessary.
Ajax and flex: AJAX is an acronym for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. It combines coding with HTML, JavaScript, and XML to allow interaction between the client and server to occur 'asynchronously'. The 'asynchronous' part is important - it means that user interaction with the interface isn't broken up by page refreshes every time the server has something to do. In essence, AJAX is a series of techniques and tricks to make traditional web pages more interactive.  Flex delivers an integrated set of tools and technology that enable developers to build and deploy scalable rich Internet applications (RIAs). Flex provides a modern, standards based language supporting common design patterns and includes a client runtime environment, a programming model, a development environment and advanced web services.

The seminar was given by my friend Dheeraj Bapat.

jQuery: jQuery is a fast, concise, JavaScript Library that simplifies how you traverse HTML documents, handle events, perform animations, and add Ajax interactions to your web pages. jQuery is designed to change the way that you write JavaScript.

From Desktop applications towards Ajax Web applications:Ajax is a set of different technologies that work together to create new and powerful Web applications. Ajax is demonstrating its usefulness in real world applications. The most important Internet companies as: Google, Yahoo, Amazon, Microsoft, are developing rich Web applications based on Ajax. Many developers do not know how to use these technologies to build Ajax Applications.
In the classic web pages interaction, user interafaces were minimum, desktop applications contained some GUI and interaction softwares. Now through the Ajax technologies same can be attained in the web pages giving more user interactions, asynchronous communications, more GUI interfaces.
In this seminar topic i have made a small effort to describe this. You can watch the ppt of this seminar from the below link.
