POORNACHANDRA TEJASVI


Poornachandra Tejasvi born on 8 September 1938(1938-09-08) in Kuppalli, Shimoga district, Karnataka was one of the  brilliant writers in Kannada literature field. He has written many books which are best sold books even today. Among them are Chidambara rahasya, Carvalo, Abachurina Postofficesu and others. His writings were pertaining to forest and its environment, novels, transalations, scientific books. He has translated books of Jim Corbett, Keneth Anderson, Pappilon and others. His scientific and mystery unveiling books like Vismaya Vishva and others are also wonderful collections.

He Died on 5th April 2007 (aged 68) in Mudigere, Karnataka

JIM CORBETT- Edward James 'Jim' Corbett

Jim Corbett born on 25 July 1875 in Nainital, India was the famous hunter who gave relief to the village people by killing many man-eater Leopards, Tigers. He was an Indian born British hunter and also environmentalist. He was having great knowledge about forest and wild animals. This photograph was taken after killing the man-eater of Rudraprayag which was very famous for its cruelty and killing hundreds of people. A national park is also  there by his name which take cares of tigers and other animals. He has written many books like Man-eater of Rudraprayag, Man eaters of Kumoan, Tigers of Chowgarh etc.
It was a really challenging work to hunt the man-eaters in the 's where there were no adequate and sophisticated weapons. Even when considered to Torches they were heavy and of small life time.  Village people was considering him as saint as he could resolve these problems which others cannot solve.
He died on April 19, 1955 (aged 79).
