Unconditional love, or grace, is what sets the Christian faith apart from all others. Indeed we believe that God is love*, and that's why Jesus' instruction - to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbour as ourself - is so significant.

It means that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Whatever depths or distress we're in, that love comes our way - we just need to open ourselves to receive it. And once we do receive it, we need to keep it flowing through us to others. Just as water keeps fresh and vibrant as it flows, so that unconditional love is forever reaching out through us in its unrestricted care for others around us.

And that's why you'll find such a warm welcome in the Christian churches in the Chilterns .....

* 1st epistle of St John, chapter 4, verse 16.

In the Church of England (Cof E), parish churches are grouped together in what's called a 'deanery'. So this group of 22 churches comprise the Wendover deanery, and this website is designed to be a gateway for finding out more about what goes on in your local parish church.

On the left of this page, you can click through to any of their websites, or to their page on a special search site called 'A Church Near You'. Indeed this special search site can help you find any C of E church throughout England.

However, here's some information which specifically relates to our local churches - we hope it's useful:

Any questions? Please contact us by e-mail, or telephone one of the churches if you'd rather speak to someone.
