all good cookies start off with two sticks of butter and a girl in a polka-dotted goose apron. making your own cookies from scratch means you get bigger utensils to lick clean. :) sadly my shitty oven sabotaged my cookies, so some of them are overcooked. if you pull your cookies out of the oven and they look brown and done, they are burnt. mine aren't inedibly burnt, but they're not their best. like making a well-done piece of beef. ew. r.i.p. overcooked cookies. after work i made chris go to the grocery store with me, and i managed to disgust him to the point he fired me. i fire people on a regular basis, but he seemed to have found the first perfect excuse today while we were on the baking aisle. he was picking through products and asked if i needed yeast. i replied, "no, i got some, ha!" a few seconds of silence passed before i clarified, "you know, in my vagina jelly*." "yes, yes, i wasn't going to say it. god, you. are. fired!" hehe 9/17/09 22:50 *vagina jelly is one of many horrifying things my imagination has created. see the terrible progression to it below, which is probably longer than you care to read. regardless, i love when i can gross myself out.
Kitchen
Kitchen
The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. We have a Brita Filter on the water faucet and also keep a Brita Pitcher in the refrigerator. There is a dishwasher and the sink is stainless steel for easy cleaning. Each roommate has her own cabinet for food and her own shelf in the refrigerator. We all share the freezer and plates, cups, pots, pans, silverware, etc. are also in a common drawer/cabinet for everyone to use.
