David A. Novik
Dr. David Novick studied Civil Engineering and earned B.S. degree from SEAS ion 1948 and M.S. degree in 1954. He was a practitioner-in-residence at the University of Illinois and at Carnegie Mellon University. He was a national director of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and named Chicago Civil Engineer of the year in 1998. He also received the John I. Parcel-Leif J. Sverdrup Civil Engineering Management Award in 1998. He was also a principal in the conceptual design of the multibillion dollar Crosstown Expressway with 22 miles of mass transit.
