Trinh Van Chien

Trinh Van Chien received the B.S. degree in electronics and telecommunications from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, in 2012, the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, in 2014, and  the Ph.D. degree in communication systems from Linköping University, Sweden, in 2020. He was  a research associate at University of Luxembourg. He is now an assistant professor at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam. His interest lies in convex optimization problems, theoretical analysis, and practical applications for wireless communications and image & video processing.

He was an IEEE wireless communications letters exemplary reviewer for 2016, 2017, and 2021 and an IEEE transactions on communications for 2022. He also received the award of scientific excellence in the first year of the 5Gwireless project funded by European Union Horizon's 2020. He won the science & technology award (golden globe) 2023 from the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Central Committee  of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vietnam.
