Rosario is a 3L at Chicago-Kent. Nelson has a BS in Computer Science from Florida State University, and a BA in History and
Politicial Science from the University of Minnesota. Prior to law school he worked in
election administration in the state of Florida. It was during that time period
he discovered his fascination with intellectual property. During law school he has worked at Motorola Mobility, Neal Gerber & Eisenberg, done research on cyber crime and cyber warfare for a professor, and spent his 2L summer as a summer associate at Lempia Summerfield Katz.
Ryan Janski is a 3L at Chicago-Kent. He received his bachelor's degree in philosophy and political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. His studies in philosophy focused primarily in formal logic and reasoning and also semantics. During his time at the University of Illinois he developed a love for all things technology related which eventually led him to have a strong interest in intellectual property law and Chicago-Kent. Ryan is currently a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Steven G. Lisa and also a Submissions Editor for the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property.Ben Rosborough is a 2L at Chicago-Kent. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012. During his time there he worked in the Photonic Device Research Lab characterizing lasers and optical fibers. Following his 1L year, Ben worked as a summer associate at Nixon Peabody LLP.
Leah Eubanks is a third-year law student focusing on patent law. She received an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. After graduation, Leah spent eight years in the field of construction engineering where she worked on various construction projects throughout the Chicagoland area including Millennium Park and the I-355 South Extension. While working as a civil engineer, she completed her MBA at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management where she focused on Entrepreneurship and Strategy. Leah spent a year as a law clerk for Global IP Law Group, and currently is working as an extern for the IP group at Katten Muchin Rosenman.
Stephanie Nelson is a 2L at Chicago-Kent. She received her B.S. in Biomedical
Engineering from Boston University in 2012. Her senior design project involved
designing a low cost, point-of-care, diagnostic test for tuberculosis. Stephanie was the 1L representative for IPLS
last year. This summer she was a legal intern at Rothwell, Figg, Ernst and
Manbeck in Washington, DC, and a patent examiner extern at the United States
Patent and trademark Office.
Dan Roth - Alumni Relations Officer
Dan Roth is a 3L at Chicago-Kent. He received bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2008. He worked as a process engineer at Archer Daniels Midland Company before coming to Kent. He is a registered patent agent who externed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2012 and currently works as a patent agent at Valauskas Corder LLC.
Taylor Kolb - Faculty Liaison Officer
Taylor Kolb is a 2L at Chicago-Kent. Prior to law school, Taylor received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While working in a university research laboratory he studied the GABA neurotransmitter and its interactions with the neurotransmitter’s receptor in order to better understand how the subunits of the GABA receptor interact with each other.
