A Hampstead Hooligan in King Arthur's Court

The Company

The Show:

A Hampstead Hooligan in King Arthur's Court is based on the Mark Twain classic "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court."

Punchinella (Punch to his friends) has a problem. One minute he was attending the latest football match with his mates, and the next he wakes up in the times of King Arthur. Unbelieving at first, Punch soon finds himself captured by knights, sentenced to die, hailed as a master magician, made the king's right hand, and a whole host of other adventures, all with Merlin trying to thwart his every move. Full of humor, wit, adventure, and just a touch of romance, A Hampstead Hooligan in King Arthur's Court tells the tale of knowledge in a time of suspicion and how hope is the strongest thing people have.

This show promises to offer something for everyone (though it may not be entirely suitable for children)

  • WATCH as Derek Jarvis successfully portrays 6 knights of the Round Table.
  • SEE Ned Record standing in his underwear for 7 minutes, trying not  to look uncomfortable.
  • EXPERIENCE the final Chicago performance of Jeff award winning actor Sam Wootten, as he leaves our fair city with a bang.
