Sunday Contact Improv Jam, 11:30am-2:30pm 

(There's a jam EVERY Sunday unless the calendar below says otherwise.)

Location: Mostly at Constellation, 3111 N Western (half a block south of Belmont) - please see "Jam Schedule and Reminders" section below to make sure.

Cost: $5 - or whatever you can afford.

Newcomers to the jam are strongly encouraged to come at the start of the jam so you can change clothes, get oriented, and read the  Guidelines for the jam.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that won't limit your movement (preferably cotton: synthetic materials don't work as well).

All ages are welcome, but those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult is responsible for monitoring the child's safety and must be willing to intervene if the child's behavior is disruptive to others.

The sequence of activities is as follows unless indicated otherwise in the Jam Schedule & Reminders section:

Fall-Spring:

11:30 - doors open

11:45 - opening circle, followed by a facilitated warm-up and guided skills practice

12:45 - open jamming begins

  2:15 - closing circle (with time to process our experiences)

  2:30 - end of the jam

Summer:

11:30 - doors open

11:45 - opening circle, followed by a longer class than we do the rest of the year

  1:00 - open jamming begins (may be earlier if the people present wish more jam time)

  2:15 - closing circle (with time to process our experiences)

  2:30 - end of the jam

3rd Wednesday of the month Class + Jam

The class will be geared towards basic skills (newcomers are welcome as are skilled contacters who want to refresh some basics).
The jam will be open to all skill levels.


Time:

Class starts at 6pm sharp, no late comers; the jam will start at 7:15/7:30ish and end at 9pm.

Dates:

March 19, April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, Aug 20


Cost:
Class+jam is $5-10; for jam only $3-5.

1625 W. Sherwin Ave. #2.

2 blocks from Jarvis Red line stop; two blocks from the #22 bus; several blocks from #147, #151, #215, #290, & #97 and the Howard L stop. Street Parking is usually available, but may take some hunting.

Location is the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. 
We usually meet in the back (south end) of the lawn, typically towards the BP bridge.

(Easter Sunday)
There won't be a jam - Happy Easter! - Clare, Daniel, Rob & Sarah  
  We have an Underscore jam the first Sunday of each month (with a few exceptions).
