Anita Chen is currently the Director of Technology at International School of Helsinki, an IB World School offering International Baccalaureate programmes to students from Pre-K to Grade 12. As an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Innovator and authorized Google Education Trainer, she leads professional development and initiatives in the use of technology to enhance learning, differentiate and provide formative and summative assessment. 

Anita holds a Master of Science in Information Technology in Education with distinction from the University of Hong Kong with a focus on interdisciplinary studies and curriculum integration. She is also a learning leader at Harvard Graduate School of Education Future of Learning Institute. Anita has collaborated on a variety of projects including Mobile Apps Learning Design with the University of Hong Kong, Multi-touch Books with Beijing Normal University and Google Glass Explorer with Google. She is also a lead teacher at the Student Global Leadership Institute in Punahou School, Honolulu. 

Anita supports teachers in designing and implementing technology-facilitated instructional units, achieving student learning outcomes, developing assessment pieces, and creating a collaborative learning environment.

Anita has presented in English, Mandarin and Japanese, at regional, national and international. She has modelled technology infusion and provided professional up-skilling in Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and the USA.
