US Army Heritage & Education Center

The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) is the United States Army's preeminent museum and research complex. They are dedicated to educating and preserving the legacy of the men and women who have served their nation as soldiers.
 
They have great historical and educational programs including an annual event with re-enactors!  Check out their website:

Snyder's of Hanover Factory Tour

Snyders of Hanover gives tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays @ 10:00 a.m.,11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.   Tours are free and last about 30 to 40 minutes. There is a flight of 20 steps that have to be climbed to take the tour. The minimum age is 6 years old.   Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.   From May 1st through September 30th tours fill up rapidly. If you have any other questions or would like make reservations for a tour please contact Cathy Gunzelman at 717-632-4477 x 8888 or email her @ cgunzelm@snyders-han.com.

BAAC holds special Webelos overnighters where boys can satisfy certain requirements for their Aquanaut, Sportsman, Readyman, and Athlete badges.

Did you know that the Maryland Science Center has Camp-ins for groups?  They change the content each year but the programs are always fun and exciting!

The Meadowside Nature Center in Rockville has programs for Boy Scouts:  Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Geology as we as Webelos programs:  for Naturalist and Scientist.  They also welcome service projects too!

National Cryptologic Museum

The National Security Agency has a GREAT museum and welcomes scout packs and troops that want to learn about the history of Cryptology.  It fits nicely into the Webelos Communications pin.
