Our regular training nights are Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 7pm at Chepstow Leisure Centre.

Meet in the Bar/Lounge at 6.50. We need to make any announcements and organise the groups ready for a prompt start at 7:00.

Our Coaching Team

All Coaches are UKAthletics qualified and CRB checked. The Coach of the Month devises the schedule and supervises each session. Sessions are plotted and risk-assessed on a Planner on which members’ feedback and the Coach’s assessment of the effectiveness of the session are recorded and later reviewed by the Team. So we welcome your feedback after each session, and are always open to suggestions for future training.

Thursday Club Runs

We usually organise a long run on Thursdays – on roads from October to March, and mainly off-road when the evenings are light enough. Maps of our regular runs are posted below and are usually available on paper on the night. Every runner should familiarise themself with the route. We encourage members to run in ability groups with at least one group member familiar with the route.
 
Runners are required to wear reflective clothing on dark evenings. Wearing or carrying a torch is also encouraged.
