Tsung-Yi Chen

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of Northwestern University, working with Professor Dongning Guo. I obtained my Ph.D. from UCLA under the supervision of Professor Richard WeselCommunication System Laboratory .

My primary research interests include channel coding and information theory for communications and storage. My dissertation studies
 non-asymptotic analysis for feedback communication and the design of rate-compatible LDPC codes. I am also interested in channel coding techniques for flash memory storage.
