Short Bio:    
    I received my B.E. degree from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in 2010, and dual Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Jie Yang and Prof. Dacheng Tao, respectively. Currently, I am a full professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. My research interests mainly include machine learning, data mining, and learning-based vision problems. I have published more than 30 technical papers at prominent journals and conferences such as IEEE T-NNLS, IEEE T-IP, IEEE T-CYB, IEEE T-CSVT, IEEE T-MM, CVPR, AAAI, IJCAI, ICDM, etc. I received the “National Scholarship” awarded by the Ministry of Education in 2013 and 2014, the “Excellent Self-financed Overseas Student Scholarship” awarded by China Scholarship Council in 2015, and the “IBM Excellent Student Scholarship” in 2015. I am also the recipient of SJTU Excellent Doctorial Dissertation awarded  by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and  Excellent Doctorial Dissertation” awarded by CAAI.

    My research interests mainly include machine learning, data mining, and learning-based vision problems.
