December 2018 - Congratulations to Lauren Forgrave who received the Millie and Ralph Drabinsky Graduate Scholarship in Medicine! This award is given to a doctoral student undertaking research into the etiology or treatment of Alzheimer’s or related neurodegenerative diseases of the central nervous system.

- January is Alzheimer's Awareness month in Canada. Join us on Saturday January 28th on the UBC campus for the annual Alzheimer Update public forum. We will be sharing our research progress developing diagnostics for early identification of Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal dementia, and related disorders.

December 2016 - Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating our lab's new SCIEX 5500 triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. This equipment will further our lab's research focused on the development of diagnostic tests for patient care. In particular, our research team would like to thank Genome BC, Genome Canada, St Paul's Hospital Foundation and CIHR for their support.

January 2016 - January is Alzheimer's Awareness Month. The UBC Clinic for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders will be hosting the annual public forum on Saturday January 30 at the Life Sciences Centre at the University of British Columbia. Come join us and learn about latest research focused on lifestyle interventions, timely/accurate diagnosis, understanding disease pathology and new therapeutic directions for Alzheimer's disease.

November 2015 - A big thank you our kind and gracious hosts, Drs Chia-Ni Lin, Jentaie Shiea and Woei-Horng Fang, who provided a memorable trip to Taiwan this November. The lab's work on Alzheimer's diagnostics was presented by Dr. DeMarco at the Mass Spectrometry for Clinical Diagnosis conference (National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung) and Applications of Mass Spectrometry in Clinical Diagnosis symposium (Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taoyuan).
