Welcome to the website of Chelsea C. Chou. I am an Associate Professor in the Graduate Institute of National Development at National Taiwan University. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Government at Cornell University. 

My research focuses on state-society relations in authoritarian regimes and social policy-making in China. My broader research fields include Comparative Politics, Authoritarianism, Labor and Health Policies, International Relations, and Chinese Politics.
