Google has (selectivley released) it Chat client that is built into gMail. This could finally get all my friends with Yahoo and Hotmail accounts to switch over (I mean when I make them) it is pretty cool but I still have questions... I think you still need to be invited to use this (or some people do) and also it may only work with your actual gmail accounts (and not aliases, etc.) Let me know if you want an invite.
