Easy Taco Soup

1 lb extra lean ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

3 cans (15.5 oz each) chili beans

1 can (14.5 oz) whole tomatoes, undrained

1 can (14.25 oz) corn, undrained

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

1 package (1.25 oz) taco seasoning mix

1 1/2 cups water

Directions: Brown meat with chopped onions in large saucepan.  Drain.  Pour mixture into a soup pot.  Add all remaining ingredients.   Stir with spoon, breaking up tomatoes.  Simmer on medium low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

Serve with tortilla chips and shredded cheese for garnish.

Yield: 12 servings
