The Charlottesville Center For Peace and Justice (CCPJ) was established in the early 1980s, as a grassroots response to the threat of nuclear war and promotes alternatives to violence.  CCPJ promotes education and action for peace and justice in our community. Among its recent projects have been the military recruitment video, A Soldiers Life,  and Peaceful Protest flyer  .The Peaceful Protection flyer is being distributed nationally by Southern Poverty  Law Center through it's College Campus program.

Soldiers Life is specifically aimed to high school students and all of the people involved in its production, aside from the producer and the vet, all of the crew members are under 20 years old.
