This a website to honour the men who fought and served before and during the 1st and 2nd World Wars. After many hours of family research I have traced over 50 members connected to us that have served in the armed forces. They are either in my own or my daughter maternal family line or are distant 1st, 2nd and beyond a 3rd generation of cousins who's family lines descend from my great aunts and uncles etc.
My family tree I have researched can be found on Ancestry.co.uk
IF I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is forever England.
The Soldier, Rupert Brooke
I am hoping to research and find out as much as possible for each man I have discovered and set up a page in honour of each individual detailing where they served, which regiment etc. This can be made hard by the fact so many of the WW1 Service Records were destroyed by a fire in a German bombing raid in 1940. Please click on the names in the Index to be taken to each individual's page
Thank you for Reading
