Charee Peters - Astronomy PhD Candidate & Master's Degrees in Physics and Astronomy

Charee Peters is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is working with Eric Wilcots (UW-Madison) and Laura Chomiuk (Michigan State University). Her primary thesis work focuses on the radio time domain using VLA observations. Other work includes supernovae, gamma-ray bursts, and supernova remnants. 

She is currently a PhD dissertator and completed her master's degree in astronomy from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in November 2016. She received her first master's degree from the Fisk-Vanderbilt Masters-to-PhD Bridge Program in August 2013, where her thesis was on typing supernova remnants and connecting them to the initial supernova explosion mechanism. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Denver in June 2011.
