Mission Statement

By advocating on behalf of the children through the music program, the vision of the Chaney-Monge Music Parents Association (CMMPA) is to foster a love of music in our children while creating a safe, positive, esteem-building program with the support of the faculty and community.  The primary objectives of the CMMPA are to promote, foster and support enthusiasm and interest in the various activities and programs of the Music Department of Chaney-Monge School, and to lend moral, financial and physical support to the music program.

The CMMPA encourages families of students in the music programs of Chaney-Monge School to participate in the CMMPA and Music Department activities.  All persons interested in the continuity, progress and development of the Music Department shall be eligible for membership in the CMMPA.  Parents and guardians of students in the Music Department are automatically considered members.

Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in the Chaney-Monge Music Room on the second Wednesday of each calendar month beginning in September and ending in May.  If you have any thoughts or suggestions that may benefit the music program, please contact us or join us at our next meeting. Your input and support is crucial to the success of the Chaney-Monge School music program.
