The Governing Board of Chamblee Charter High School is responsible for fulfilling the terms of its charter for the benefit of all CCHS stakeholders.  Governing Board members serve on a voluntary basis, investing their professional talents alongside CCHS parents, faculty and staff, students, and community members.  As a conversion charter school, the Governing Board exercises the autonomy granted to it by the DeKalb County School District.

The CCHS Governing Board generally meets on a monthly basis, as does each of the four Board-level committees.  Board-level committees are chaired by a Board member and depend on the participation and talents of parents, faculty and staff, students, and the greater CCHS community.
