CHALLENGES OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING VII

Seventh  International Conference:  Foundations/Versatility, Ústí nad Labem, 20-21 October, 2016

The Department of English at the Faculty of Education of Purkyne University is pleased to announce its seventh international conference for academics and practitioners involved in educating teachers of foreign languages.

CHALLENGES is an ongoing series of conferences organized by the English Department at Purkyne University (UJEP). The main aim of the conference is to share current views, new trends, innovative ideas and experience in foreign language teaching and teacher education.

Further, we encourage submissions from graduate students whose research and practice fall broadly under the cover terms of ELT, TESL/TEFL, and applied linguistics as well as cultural and literary studies. The plenaries  will be held by internationally renowned researchers.

Abstract submissions pertaining, but not limited, to the following key terms are welcome:

Applied linguistics & education

ELT & methodology

Cultural studies & teaching

Literary studies & teaching

A selection of accepted papers will be published in our series of ELT volumes by an international publishing house.

The conference fee this year will be CZK 1,200 (to be paid via invoice after registration here: http://www.pf.ujep.cz/en/challenges-vii).
