Home fire safety

Join other volunteers and the American Red Cross to help low-income families protect against home fires. The Sound the Alarm, Save a Life program is seeking volunteers.

Volunteers work in small teams and there are three ways to help, by being one of these:

• 1. A smoke alarm installer

  2. A disaster safety educator

  3. A documenter of services provided

The Red Cross trains the volunteers and provides all supplies.

It is a rewarding day, as you help prevent needless injury and death by home fires.
