Information

Basic Info

Note: I tried to cite as much information as I could back to a source, but some of the information is so commonplace that I very well may have missed some sources that repeat it.

Location:
  • Toshimaen (としまえん) (National Tournament)
  • Toys "R" Us Stores (Qualifiers)
Date:
  • August 17, 18, 24, 25, 2002 - 10:00 AM & 11:00 AM (Store-by-Store Qualifiers)
  • August 31, 2002 - 10:00 AM (Store-by-Store Finals / Toy Festa 2002 Qualifiers)
  • October 13, 2002 (Toy Festa 2002)
Number of Entrants:

A limited number of entrants were able to participate in the Store-by-Store Qualifiers. For some stores this limit was 16 people per tournament. I thought I read somewhere that a few locations had 32-person tournaments but I was unable to locate the source.
