Grades PreK - 4 will be participating in a Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser and Event in the months of January and February. Look for information to be sent home ____________________ Information will also be posted on this website. The information will explain the fundraising aspect of the program, along with the event we will be having. We plan to have the EVENT in February, as it is Heart Awareness Month.
About Jump Rope for Heart -
Jump Rope for Heart is a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Students will be trying to raise money to support and help young children, and people of all ages that suffer from a heart condition. Throughout the month of January and February in PLUS BLOCK students will participate in lessons that will teach about heart health, along with practicing many different jumping activities and stations to prepare for the event.

What is the purpose of Jump Rope for Heart?
As a school we are trying to raise money for the American Heart Association to help children who suffer from heart conditions.

Do I need a permission slip?
No. You do not need a permission slip as the event is during school.
Do I need to fundraise to participate in the event?
No, you do not have to fundraise but it is suggested!
When are fundraising forms ( participant sponsor forms) due?
Fundraising Forms are due _____________. However, you can pass in the forms any time before then.
Can students get “ Splatter the Duck” before submitting their $5 donation?
YES! All students need to do is bring in the “duck slip” on top of the collection envelope to your CLASSROOM teacher. Students will then get the duck on their duck day. Students are encouraged not bring in the $5 until they are done fundraising.
Who do I pass my fundraising forms and duck slips into?
Pass them into your classroom teacher. They will be placed in an envelope for PE teachers.
When do I get my “Splatter Duck” or “online ducks”.
After you bring in your “duck slips” or “online fundraising notifications”, you will get your ducks on your grade levels “duck day” assigned to your child's grade level.
Do I get all my prizes right away?
Prizes should be in in March.
The only ducks you would get before March would be, Splatter the Duck or our online ducks. ( Ms. Cool and Ninja). Those ducks would be given out on your duck day.
Can I pass my fundraising form ( participant sponsor) form early?
Yes! Forms can be passed in anytime before _________________.
Can parents volunteer for the event?
This is an in school event. Due to a large number of students in the gymnasium, we can't allow parents to attend. However, we will take lots of pictures and share them!
I lost my Jump Rope for Heart information.. What do I do?
Extra forms will be outside the gymnasium & main office through the fundraiser or visit our website.
