Welcome to AP World History!  I look forward to studying the history of the world (literally) with all of you throughout the year.  This site is meant to assist you
, outside of class, in your efforts toward achieving success on the AP Exam come this May. Please use the links under "Unit of Study," on the left, to help you navigate to our current course work.   For each unit you navigate to there will be helpful resources, links, and digital copies of some worksheets or assignments.   However, the essential sources for success in AP World History will be your textbook and your work ethic.  Be prepared to come to class every day with a positive attitude and a vigorous appetite for hard work. Because this course will require a monumental effort from each of us, I hope we may find solace in W.E. Henley's words:

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.
