Scholarships/Bursaries

Education:  CFUW KELOWNA ACADEMIC AWARDS PROGRAMME

One of CFUW Kelowna's primary goals is to encourage higher education for women. In meeting this goal we have committed to making scholarships and burseries available to students graduating from high school and to students enrolled at Okanagan College (OC) and the University of British Columbia  Okanagan (UBCO).

Our organization hopes to relieve the stresses of the high cost of fees, books and supplies, transportation and living expenses. We feel reassured by the many comments from our appreciative award winners that our efforts make a difference.

We present scholarships and bursaries (approximately $12,000 annually), with sizable endowment funds established at Okanagan College and the Central Okanagan Bursary and Scholarship Society (COBSS).

We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia with this worthwhile programme
