CFSCPTA includes a total of 29 PTA/PTSAs. Eighteen of these are in the Cupertino Union School District (CUSD), 5 in the Fremont Union High School District (FUHSD) and 6 are in the Sunnyvale School District (SSD).
Our council is a member of the 6th district PTA of the Santa Clara County. We serve as a resource for
all things pertaining to PTA policy, to hold meetings with PTA representatives from all schools to
find a common ground to effectively advocate for our children and to provide leadership training for PTA officers.
In short, Council is to support each PTA/PTSA unit.
CFSCPTA has set the following goals for the 2013-2014 school year –
Continue to build relationships with all our units, administrators and school
boards. Reach out to out-of-council PTAs and other parent organizations.
Provide leadership and organizational support and training to units.
Provide a forum to exchange information, share strategies and concerns.
Continue our advocacy on behalf of our schools with legislators and other
advocacy groups. Support our Districts in maintaining the long-term financial
stability and the quality of education.
